Hey folks!
That's right, you read correctly! Shattered is now officially complete! If you ordered the book via Kickstarter or Backerkit, you will receive an email tomorrow morning via Backerkit with instructions on how to download the PDF.
We received the final quote for the printer earlier today and will be sending it to them tonight or tomorrow. Once we have more information on the timeline, we will let you know!
We also have a new submission form for errors! You can submit anything you find here. We will periodically collect any entries found here and release errata as necessary.
If you or a friend missed out on grabbing a copy, stay tuned and in the coming weeks, we'll let you know how to get a copy!
Address Changes
For those of you who ordered physical books, you still have a few weeks to change your address. We'll let you know when the final date is closer (about 1-2 weeks before) so everyone has plenty time to notify us of a change in address.

Hey folks!
LAST CALL for Pre-Orders
We will be officially closing pre-orders tomorrow Monday, November 6th at 8PM EST (Tuesday, November 7th 1AM GMT). If you or your friends have not pre-ordered yet, now is the time!
We will be letting everyone know in the coming weeks where and how to get their hands on Shattered both in PDF and Hardcover post-release.
Keep an eye out for an update tomorrow about the PDF release and the book being sent to the printer!

We are proud to announce Pre-Release 9! This will be our final Pre-Release before print. The current plan is to go to print during the week of October 30th. That’s just 2 weeks away! In the next two weeks we will finalize our formatting rules, our editing, polish the Lexicon, and complete the economy rebalance. That’s all well and good, but what does this mean for you, the backer? We’re weeks away from the final PDF to be in your hands! We thank everyone for sticking with us and we promise you won’t be disappointed.
This is also a reminder that not all of you have finished your Kickstarter surveys. If you do not finish this, you will not get your physical book because we won’t know where to ship it! Also, there are a few of you still with declined payment methods. Again, we can’t ship you anything or send you a digital copy until the payment is processed. So please check your emails and your spam folders, we don’t want you missing out! You can also recomplete your survey here: https://shattered-rpg.backerkit.com.
Shipping Address Changes
Please note that you have until we ship the books to Amazon to update your shipping address. You can do that by messaging us here on Kickstarter, on our Forums, or on Discord. If you are planning a move during our projected arrival date, we will gladly work with you as we get closer to the Holiday Season to insure you receive the book.
Pre-Orders Still Available
You can still preorder Shattered via Backerkit, both the PDF and the bound book. If you pre-order a hardcopy, you will get a copy of the PDF upon release as well! Finally, anyone who preorders either copy of the book gets immediate access to the PDF pre-release through Discord or the Forums.

October 2017 State of the Book

Hey folks!
We’re gearing up to release Pre-Release 9 next week! As such we’ve re-adjusted our timeline. Please see below! As you can see, our new “Send to Print” date is the end of October.
Fear & Insanity have been reworked. Instead of rolling a fear check for every “scary” encounter, characters now gain paranoia. After your paranoia gets to a certain point, you roll a fear check. Insane Combatant has been reworked to follow these new rules.
The economy rebalance for Equipment & Crafting is almost complete and we have removed mounted weapons. While this might sadden some people, with the rework of airship damage mounted weapons no longer had a niche to fill. The art has been reused within Airships.
The rework of Creature Creation has been completed and we believe you’ll find it streamlined and far more straightforward. Both creatures and the creature list have been updated to accommodate this new change.
A feature being currently worked on is weapon mods for marshals. These will work similar to that of the psykic and arkänist weapons and will be completed before Pre-Release 9.
We’ve got some other cool things coming down the pipe, so stay tuned!
